Tap, drag and shoot in Mini Golf Smash

Despite the name, Mini Golf Smash isn't really a golf game. It's more of a cannon game, with a control scheme similar to Angry Birds or Worms. Your objective is to launch a golf ball into a hole. To hit the ball, just tap and hold, moving your finger back and forth to aim the shot. Release, and hopefully you'll be able to hit the ball into the hole. Hitting the flag first earns you extra points.

Simple but addictive

There isn't a lot to the gameplay of Mini Golf Smash, you control the power and angle of your shot, but that's about it. The complexity comes from the increasing difficulty of the courses. There are three beginning courses to choose from, and each hole racks up the difficulty and complexity from the previous one. The graphics are very simple, and the variation between the levels is limited to colour palette and background. Despite the simplicity of the mechanics and graphics, some of the later levels are legimitately challenging. If you fail to land your ball in the hole, you'll need to start over or revive yourself by watching an add.

Good fun without much depth

Mini Golf Smash is an enjoyable, challenging cannon game without a lot of strategic depth. Restarting a level after dying can be very frustrating. This game is a fun way to pass some time, but probably doesn't have the meat for a long haul.
